A splendid bank Holiday Weekend

How did you spend your Bank Holiday weekend? Possibly not as exciting as mine, okay we didn't have the perfect weather, why let that stop you from enjoying time with the your favourite people in the world.

A big well done

I started my bank Holiday off at work unfortunately, it was no ordinary Saturday though, throughout the week we managed to raise a staggering £1036 for Cancer Research, my contribution was cake baking, cakes and raffle was on sale all week, and some of the girls took part in the race for life.

Sunday night Indian

Me and the other half  decided to try out a new Indian restaurant called Zara's on Sunday evening just outside of our local town, no more then a 15min drive. What other excuse does a girl need to get herself a new dress, curl your hair and experiment with make-up.

This dress is sightly more daring them what I'm used too. I absolutely adore this dress, only £15 in the New look sale, my necklace is from Forever 21 sale, for an amazing £4. I love curly hair, but i am naturally straight so with the help of some Loreal Hairspray and my beloved GHD'S my hair can go pretty crazy.

Bank Holiday Monday

Like most days off myself and my other half struggled to find something to do for the day, there's not much that goes on in our small town. With very little funds to enjoy at the moment due to our big savings for our new dream home.

We decided to take the half hour journey down to Enfield for the afternoon, I'm a massive animal lover and have been since a youngster. If i could feel my home with cute animals i would, but lets be realistic. My boyfriends idea are pets are slightly different to mine, im all for the cute and cuddly. My boyfriend on the other hand would like to invest in two baby turtles when we move in, feeling optimistic i decided to go and have a look at some (just to keep him quiet)

So i was wrong just because there not fluffy and cuddly, doesn't mean there not cute, this little guy was pretty adorable, he was trying to nibble my finger through the glass and followed it up and down the tank. Yes, i wanted to take him home!

These bigger turtles on the other hand, i can honestly say are rather scary and do not appeal to me as a great pet at all. We plan to buy mud Turtles that grow no more then 4-5 inches and can live up to 10 years, the set up of there environment is essential, we have a lot of researching to do, to ensure our new little pets are properly looked after. A great day out with very little expensive, with plenty of cute and cool things to look at.

Keep posted for more days and nights out that doesn't have to cost you very much at all :)
